Dejan Kulusevski: ‘It's been a disappointing season’

Dejan Kulusevski admits he has had a disappointing season and has experienced ups and downs in his first season at Juventus.

The Swedish winger signed for the Old Lady for a reported fee of €44m from

Atalanta

last summer but has failed to impress in his first year at Turin.

The Bianconeri are currently sitting third in the Serie A table 10 points behind the league leaders

Inter

and could miss out on their 10 successive Scudetto.

"It's been a disappointing season. We must always begin the season with the target of winning the title,"

Kulusevski said at a press conference

.

The former

Parma

player has talked about his moments at Juventus and frequent changes in his position on the pitch.

"It wasn't easy to join Juventus at 20-year-old. Everything was new to me. I'm struggling a little bit, but I am improving even if I know it will take time.

“There have been many changes and I am not accustomed to that.

“I’ve changed my role many times, but I feel I am close to where I want to be,"

he continued

.

“We must play better and get better results.

“There’s not the atmosphere that we want. Some days are complicated, but that’s when the true champions emerge.

“That’s when you have to work harder. Everyone needs to do better.”
