Bounedjah helped Al Sadd grab the Qatar Stars League title

The 29-year-old has extended his dominance as the top goalscorer when Al Sadd grabbed their 15th league title in Qatar.

’s claiming of the Qatar Stars League crown which is his second one, following their thumping 3-0 victory over

Umm Salal

on Sunday.

The Algeria international scored the opener for his side as

Xavi

won the first league title of his career.

Xavi’s side were announced champions after earning 50 points from 18 matches, sitting 13 points clear on top of the table.

Despite the team accomplishment, the 29-year-old has the tally of the most goals scored in the Qatari top-flight, meeting the net 20 times in 16 games he appeared in.

The Al Sadd player has also helped his side become the Qatar Cup winners with his brace in their 2-0 victory over Al-Duhail.

The club manager has expressed his feelings regarding their win.
