Inverness named Neil McCann as interim manager

Inverness have handed the interim manager role to Neil McCann.

Neil McCann

has been temporarily appointed as

Inverness

interim manager and replaced

John Robertson

with whom he was once team-mate.

Robertson has taken a leave of absence for a family loss on Monday.

Scott Kellacher

, Robertson’s assistant is currently dealing with a serious illness and could not take over.

The Scottish Championship club Inverness stated on Twitter: “

The club is pleased to announce that Neil McCann will take the position of manager of ICTFC while John Robertson is on his compassionate leave.

“A further statement and full interview with Neil will appear on the ICTFC website tomorrow.”

Following Inverness’s 2-2 draw against

Alloa

on Tuesday, they pronounced his appointment.
