Norwich postpons talks with Bayern over their defender

The English defender has attracted a lot of attention with his brilliant performances

Norwich told

Bayern Munich

that they would have to pay between £30-35m pounds to buy Max Aarons.

The German champions have been monitoring Aarons for two years and have begun talks to sign the right-back. Norwich, of course, is in no hurry to finalize the transfer and intends to move the negotiations to the end of the season. They are currently top of the championship and their focus is on returning to the Premier League and they do not intend to enter into further negotiations until the end of the season.

Manchester United, on the other hand, are also looking to strengthen their right-back and Aarons is one of their main options. The 21-year-old defender was close to joining Barcelona in September, but in the end the Blaugrana preferred to reach out to Sergio.

Aarons has performed very well this season, appearing in 29 games for Norwich, scoring one goal and three assists.
