Dominic Calvert-Lewin injury is "only little" - Carlo Ancelotti

Everton are happy with the fact that Dominc Calvert-Lewin's hamstring injury is not so serious.

The England attacker won't play in Sunday's match with Fulham after being taken off with the issue in 5-4 FA Cup triumph against Spurs but will be available for the visit of Manchester City next Wednesday.

At first, Ancelotti thought

"something wasn't good,"

but he's confirmed that

Everton

will be without his top-scorer for one game due to the strain.

He announced:

"Dominic only had a sensation in his hamstring, a feeling that something wasn't good. However, it is only a little problem and he will be able to play on Wednesday (against Man City)."

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will also be there for that match and will be out for Sunday's game against Fulham besides his England teammate, Calvert-Lewin.

Josh King will play instead of Calvert-Lewin and play his first game after moving in from Bournemouth on Deadline Day.

Ancelotti also commented that Lucas Digne has agreed on a new deal at

Everton

.

Ancelotti implies the terms that have been agreed with 27-year-old Digne, who captained the team for their 3-3 tie against Manchester United.

"I'm not in there but I know that they agreed, then next week I think they are going to sign officially the new contract,"

Ancelotti added.
