Sevilla's injured Lucas Ocampos set to return as soon as possible

Sevilla winger Lucas Ocampos is determined around making a rebound from the injury he sustained against Getafe. He'll go through a CT check right on time one week from now to decide the degree of the injury and decide how long he'll be sidelined.

A potential fracture of the tibia and fibula have been warily precluded at this stage.

The Argentinian sent a video to his social media to express gratitude toward his fans for expressing their support. Marca reported that he would "

be working to return as soon as possible, to be able to be on the playing field, which is what I enjoy and love the most.

The 26-year-old has been messing up with Getafe's opposition preceding his injury in minute 60; he even found the net that was ruled out because of a handball in the development.

The occurrence happened right away before the hour mark when the scoreline was at 0-0. Sevilla took the lead in minute 67 through Munir's goal, and after that, goals from newly joined Papu Gomez and the in-shape Youssef En-Nesyri secured the three points for the hosts.

The outcome implied that Sevilla moved above Barcelona and into the third spot of

La Liga

standings, two points away from the Blaugrana, a point behind Real Madrid, and eight behind the leaders Atletico Madrid. Altogether, with one game at hand.
