Mikel Arteta talks of other transfers before January window closes

Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta has mentioned that there maybe some transfer contracts before the January window closes.

Recently, Martin Odegaard and Mat Ryan moved in

Arsenal

on loan from Real Madrid and Brighton, respectively.

They have said goodbye to Mesut Ozil and Sokratis Papastathopoulos on free transfers.

Reiss Nelson hardly played this season and reportedly, the Gunners want to transfer him on loan to a Championship team.

Arteta

mentioned on Saturday that the transfers may not be over.

"Well, there are some conversations at the moment going on,"

Arteta announced.

"I spoke with all of the players about their own situation because they are all aware of the minutes that they are playing and they want to improve their situation.

"I am willing to help them. Some of them the club is willing to help them and we will try to find a solution at the end. But I don’t know whether it’s going to be the case or not."

Arsenal

continued their unbeaten run to seven matches in the Premier League on Saturday when they tied 0-0 at home with Manchester United.

The Spanish coach was satisfied with Arsenal's performance and believes they made some remarkable chances.

"I thought it was a fair result,"

he continued.

"It was a big battle, both teams wanted to win, and it was a really competitive match. They had some moments in the first half, and we had the biggest moments in the second half, but to make the difference you need to score when we had the big chances we had."

The Gunners will play against Wolves on Tuesday.
