Camavinga is satisfied with his current club

The 18-year-old says that being wanted to add to big clubs is satisfying but he is not getting carried away by this.

"Life is very good at the moment" said

Eduardo Camavinga

, who seems satisfied with his current situation in

Rennes

.

The 18-year-old had been the target of assumptions to head out of his current club, but both the player and the club do not want him to have a move away from the club.

Florian Maurice

, Rennes sporting director, said that the club would not even sell the player for €80 million.

He was demanded by many clubs before, as

PSG

's former manager once expressed his desire to sign the 18-year-old.

Camavinga said in a press conference:

“My change of agent? These are things that happen, we shouldn’t focus on that. I have faith in my parents, quite simply.

“Could I sign an extension? Yes. Do I want to? Yes. What is holding it up? I do not know, there are negotiations.

“If you want to talk about that, there is my father… It is you, the journalists, who have been talking about me leaving, but I am 100 per cent focused on the club.”

He also said:

"I took this choice with my family [to stay at Rennes]. Today we are happy to have made this decision. I just need to focus on football and not think too much about everything else around it."

Rennes is sitting in 5th place of the Ligue 1 table with 9 points behind the Ligue 1 leader, Paris Saint-Germain.
