Barcelonahas been up in the air until now as it is reported that the 21-year-old has extended his contract to the summer of 2023, despite the fact that the club do not have a permanent president.
Puig made three senior appearances for the Catalan giants in 2018-19 and is one of their brightest talents who went through their La Masia academy. He also made 12 appearances under Quique Setien last season.
However, he has played only 79 minutes as a substitute this season.
