Gerrard: ‘we are going to be in for a tough test’

Rangers are going to face Hibernian and they have no intention of ending their unbeaten run as they have won 12 out of their 13 matches on their own turf.

Rangers

have won 12 out of their 13 matches on their own turf this season and only Benfica were able to deny them victory as they drew last month.

Rangers are now going to face

Hibernian

while they are 16 points clear of Celtic at the top of the

Premiership

table and have no intention of ending their unbeaten run.

"We don’t look back, we don’t look back because you can’t change anything. All that game tells us is that we are going to be in for a tough test,” Rangers manager Steven Gerrard said.

"They are in a good place, they have got good players in good form and it is set up to be a fantastic game. We felt hard done by in terms of not winning that game with the chances that we had and what we created on the day but it is always a tough game going to Easter Road.

"It will be a tough test at Ibrox but we are going into it in a good place and we are really looking forward to the game and watching my players play.

"We can discuss our form at Ibrox come the end of the season because there are a lot of games to play there. Form is temporary so it is important that we keep doing the right things.

"We have been strong at home, we have been defending well and looking really strong going forward and that is all you can ask as a manager.

"The tests are going to come thick and fast. Hibs is next and then Celtic after that so we need to try and maintain that form."
