Lo Celso misses Tottenham’s clash with Wolves

The Spurs coach confirmed the Argentine will not be attending their upcoming matches due to injury.

Tottenham

midfielder,

Giovani Lo Celso

, is expected to miss the Spurs Sunday clash with

Wolves

after suffering from an injury. The Argentine, who was absent from their recent Carabao Cup win, has been a key presence for the squad since the arrival of Jose Mourinho.

When asked about Lo Celso’s absence,

Mourinho

confirmed that the player will not be available for their over Christmas and the New Year matches. Mourinho, who has chosen to drop

Tanguy Ndombele

from his Sunday selection, has included

Steven Bergwijn

and

Serge Aurier

alongside

Dele Alli

to impress for their next clash.

“Gio no, he will not be fit. Tanguy is fit but he didn’t come to Stoke. My decision, but he is fit,”

Mourinho told football.london.

When asked about the severity of Lo Celso’s injury and the duration of his absence, he responded:

“I don’t know, I believe that he will not be playing in this period of Christmas and New Year for sure.”

On the other hand it is expected that Wolves will once again miss
