PSG’s defender set to be Barcelona’s first January signing
With Barcelona’s current economic situation and the presidential election that’s going to be held in late January, it seems that club has focused on signing players that their contracts will end in the summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo
Paris Saint-Germain’s
left-back,
Juan Bernat
, has been identified as a potential
Jordi Alba’s
competitor by
Barcelona’s
presidential election favorite,
Victor Font
. The 27-year-old Spaniard, who currently suffers from an ACL injury, can negotiate with his future club in January as his contract expires this summer.
Alba and Bernat share the same agent,
Vicente Fores
, and the good relationship between the club and their representative can smooth
the Spaniard’s arrival to Camp Nou.
