Moreover, he stated that "The Azzurri are among the top four teams in Europe and Mancini's work has been remarkable. However, this will be an anomalous tournament, not just because of Covid-19m but also as it's an itinerant competition, so games will be played in several different countries.
He admired Roberto Mancini and mentioned that "Winning is always difficult, but he can do very well and has a great chance of going all the way,"
The tournament firstly was expected to hold in the 2020 summer, but it postponed to 2021 summer due to Coronavirus. Considering this delay in holding, Zoff stated that "I'm not sure that is helping. it makes the trophy seem slightly less important."
