Browne Tests Positive for Covid-19 after Playing Full-Time
The Ireland international was diagnosed with Coronavirus following their match against England.
Though FAI reported that the
Republic of Irelandmidfielder
Alan Brownehad no direct contact with others, the player did test positive for Covid-19 after their international match with
England. Browne who was a part in their 3-0 defeat to their opponent had "no close contacts" with anyone according to
FA Ireland
.
"The rest of the staff and squad tested negative ahead of Sunday's UEFA Nations League [game] against Wales in Cardiff," a short statement read on Twitter.
