Liverpool's return to the path of victories

Soaring in the sky of victory over Tottenham with a score of (4-2) in the English Premier League

Liverpool FC achieved a new victory after its brilliant win on Sunday evening over its guest Tottenham with a score of 4-2, within the framework of the thirty-sixth round of the English Premier League competitions.

Liverpool's champions scored their goals through Mohamed Salah in the sixteenth minute, Andy Robertson in the forty-fifth minute, Cody Gakpo in the fiftieth minute, and Harvey Elliott in the fifty-ninth minute. While Richarlison scored for Tottenham in the seventieth minute, and Son Heung-min in the seventy-seventh minute.

With this cheerful victory, Liverpool regained the rhythm of victories after its fluctuating performance in the previous two rounds, where it was defeated by Everton by two goals without a response, and tied with West Ham with a score of 2-2.

With this result, Liverpool's balance rose to 78 points in third place, with a difference of 5 points from the leader Arsenal, with the continuation of two rounds remaining at the end of the season, while Tottenham's balance froze at 60 points in fifth place.

While Liverpool was about to open the scoring in the seventh minute, where the ball reached Salah on the right side from a precise pass from Elliott, and with a skillful shot using the outside foot, Salah succeeded in confusing goalkeeper Vicario before the ball hit the crossbar and rebounded.

After that, Liverpool's attempts to add more goals continued, as they approached scoring in the twenty-first minute thanks to tightening the noose on Tottenham's defenses.

Despite Liverpool's superiority, Tottenham did not surrender to the result, as it succeeded in scoring two goals in the second half, but it was unable to turn the table on the events.

Liverpool players, especially Mohamed Salah, showed a strong will to add more goals, as Salah wasted a chance to score a second goal in the 81st minute due to the referee counting offside on one of the other players.

With this wonderful victory, Liverpool confirmed its presence in the title race, while it was confirmed that Tottenham is still in the race to qualify for the European championships next season.
