Inter Milan was crowned the Italian League for the twentieth time in its history, after an exciting victory over its eternal rival Milan in a match that witnessed a strong competition between the two teams. The match took place on Monday at the San Siro stadium, within the competitions of the 33rd round of the Italian League.

Inter team scored the two goals of the match, the first by Francesco Acerbi in the 18th minute, and the second by Marcus Thuram in the 49th minute, while Fikayo Tomori scored Milan’s only goal in the 80th minute. The match witnessed exciting moments and clashes between the players, where three of them received red cards in stoppage time.

Thanks to this victory, Inter’s score rose to 86 points at the top of the standings, advancing by a difference of 17 points from the runner-up Milan, before five rounds from the end of the season.

The match started with a chance for Inter, where Lautaro Martinez tried to score in the seventh minute, but his shot went far from the goal. Only a few moments had passed until a dispute broke out between the players of the two teams after Yacine Adli, a Milan player, intervened with Nicolo Barella, an Inter player.

Inter took the lead in the 18th minute through Acerbi, who took advantage of a corner pass to score an easy goal after a header from Pavard. Despite many opportunities for both teams, the net only knew these goals until the first half.

In the second half, Thuram succeeded in scoring Inter’s second goal in the 49th minute after a long pass that helped him penetrate the area and successfully shoot. Despite Milan’s attempts to reduce the score, they were not enough until Tomori scored the honor goal for his team in the 80th minute.

In stoppage time, the match witnessed a fight between the players of the two teams, where the referee sent off three players, two from Milan and one from Inter, while the final ruling of the match was for Inter.
