Exciting victory for Ceramica Cleopatra over Arab Contractors
Ahmed El-Shimi and Ahmed Yasser Rayan score the goals and lead Ceramica Cleopatra to third place in the league qualifiers
Ceramica Cleopatra Club achieved a notable victory at the expense of its guest, the Arab Contractors, with a score of (2-0), in the match that was held today, Friday, on the pitch of Osman Ahmed Osman in Cairo, as part of the fifteenth round of the local league competitions.
The player Ahmed El-Shimi, who plays for Ceramica Cleopatra, opened the scoring with a goal against his former team, the Arab Contractors, in the 39th minute, where he scored the goal by mistake.
Ahmed Yasser Rayan added the second goal after a mistake inside the penalty area, where he took advantage of the opportunity and shot a strong ball that shook the net of goalkeeper Amer Mohamed Amer in the 65th minute.
In another context, Ahmed Rayan received the best player award in the match from the Clubs Association.
With this victory, Ceramica Cleopatra Club raised its balance to 21 points in the third place, under the leadership of its technical coach Ayman Al-Ramadi.
On the other hand, the balance of the Arab Contractors, under the supervision of their technical director Mohamed Awada, froze at 8 points, and they are at the bottom of the standings in the penultimate place.
The performance of the Arab Contractors continues to decline, as they suffered defeat in four of the last five matches, and they have not achieved a victory in the league since their victory over Tala’ea El-Gaish with a score of (2-1) on the fifteenth of last December.
