Nicolas Pepe leaves Arsenal on free transfer
Arsenal have confirmed that they have agreed to terminate Nicolas Pepe's contract with immediate effect.
“We can confirm that Nicolas Pepe is leaving the club. We have agreed with Nicolas to terminate his contract with immediate effect."
Arsenal said in a statement.
“Everyone at Arsenal thanks Nicolas for his contribution during his time with us and wish him well for the future.”
Pepe joined Premier League team Arsenal for a club record fee of €79 million, it announced in August 2019.
He scored 27 goals for Arsenal in 112 games.
Pepe played 28 games and scored 8 goals in the last season for Nice.
