Postecoglou: "Rodgers is an outstanding manager"
Ange Postecoglou says that Celtic has chosen a great head coach.
Ange Postecoglou was the head coach of
Celticfor two seasons, during which he managed to win the Scottish Premiership title twice and won the treble with the team last season. After parting ways with Celtic, he joined Tottenham, and Celtic chose Brendan Rodgers as their new head coach.
Celtic can succeed under Rodgers, according to Postecoglou.
“I know Celtic have appointed Brendan Rodgers, who is an outstanding manager, and they will continue to have success."
he said.
“They have great players, great infrastructure, it is a great football club. I was very fortunate to be allowed that responsibility for a couple of years."
Postecoglou is preparing with Tottenham for the start of the new Premier League season.
