Roma FC beats Leverkusen
Roma have won the first leg of this semi-final of the European League
The club of
Romacoach led by coach Jose Mourinho managed to win its battle at home to
Bayer Leverkusen(1-0) in the first leg of the
European Leaguesemi-finals.
The only goal of the match was scored by
Edoardo Bovein the 63rd minute to save Rome from stumbling before the return round in Germany next Thursday.
Leverkusen did not need long and decided to surprise its host with a cross that reached Andreich and to meet it with a shot that was saved by

Abraham'sshot, which bounced back to Bovey, who met the ball with a direct touch to the net scoring the lead.

the ball reached Frimpong, who shot hard, but
Cristanteblocked the ball with his chest and denied the guests an equalizer.
