Mourinho able to take charge of Roma against Juve after ban lifted

Mourinho was sent off for the third time this season early in the second half of Roma's 2-1 defeat to Cremonese on Tuesday as he clashed with the fourth official before continuing his argument entering the officials' dressing room.

The Portuguese coach further was hit with a two-match suspension as well as a €10,000 fine on Wednesday. However, the Italian FA announced on Saturday that the punishment has been temporarily lifted ahead of a further hearing taking place next Friday. Hence, Jose Mourinho is able to be in the dugout when his side faces Juventus on Sunday.

Cremonese won their first Serie A match in 26 years against Roma as Mourinho defended his actions after the match. He said:

"I'm emotional but not crazy. For the first time in my career a referee has spoken to me in an unjustifiable way.

"To have the reaction I had is because something happened. I need to know now if I can do something from a disciplinary point of view."

Sitting fifth in the Serie A table, Roma will face a Juventus side that sits two places below them after a hefty 15-point deduction in January.
