Barzagli doesn’t rate Roma’s chances in the Champions League race
Former Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli has his doubts about Roma’s squad depth when it comes to competing for the Champions League spot
With Juventus deducted 15 points in Serie A teams like Lazio and Roma have been given a lifeline when it comes to qualifying for the Champions League. However, former Bianconeri defender Andrea Barzagli doesn’t think Mourinho’s men are up to the task.
“I’ve never been convinced that Roma could fight for the Champions League spots. Because the squad are not up to it. They only have one team, not two like the others. They have starters and not backups.”
