PSG's Qatari owners have held talks with Tottenham over potential investment

PSG's Qatari owners have met with Tottenham chairman to talk about potential investment into the club.

According to CBS Sports, The Qatari owners of

Paris Saint-Germain

want to invest in a Premier League club. These reports claim that Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has met with

Tottenham

chairman Daniel Levy earlier this week in a London hotel.

CBS Sports reports that talks are at an early stage and no decision has been made from either side. Al-Khelaifi is also the president of the European Club Association and Daniel Levy is a member of its executive board.

Qatar Sports Investments group owns PSG and a minority stake in Portuguese club Braga and they are trying to find another team to invest in. They also have been linked with both Roma and Espanyol in Italy and Spain respectively.

It is unclear whether QSI is ready to buy a Premier League club or they just want to invest in a it. The owners of Manchester United and Liverpool have publicly put the clubs for sale and it remains to be seen whether Qatari investors are considering buying these clubs.

QSI purchased PSG back in 2011 and the French club has won eight of the last ten Ligue One titles. Al-Khelaifi confirmed two months ago that he was considering selling a minority share of PSG. An unnamed American investment fund has been linked with buying 15 percent of the French club.
