Pele’s daughter gives a heartwarming update on his condition

Kely Nascimento is grateful for “one more night together” as he provides an update on the condition of his father, Pele, who has been battling cancer for the past 3 years.

The 82-year-old was moved to an end-of-life care facility after his surgery for colon cancer didn’t have the results doctors were hoping for. Now the focus is on him not suffering too much because of his condition.

and many others have shared their messages of support for the three-time World Cup winner.

His daughter Kely Nascimento has been updating fans about the legend’s condition, mentioning last week that they would spend the Christmas in the hospital, saying:

"We decided with doctors that, for many reasons, it will be best for us to stay here, with all the care that this new family at Einstein gives us.

"We will even make some caipirinhas (no kidding). We love you and we will give up an update next week."

True to her word, Kely has given us an update on Instagram where the caption read:

"We continue to be here, in fight and in faith. One more night together."
