Arsenal loanee Mari returns to action following stabbing

’s Pablo Mari who is currently on loan at Monza, returns to training with

after two months of being sidelined due to a stabbing attack.

The incident happened in the vicinity of a supermarket in Milan in late October, resulting in 5 people being injured with Mari being one of them. The supermarket cashier Luis Fernando Ruggieri sadly died in the incident.

Mari was supposed to be two months out of action but it seems that his recovery has been speedier than expected as the 29-year-old has already recovered.

Monza’s social media announced on Wednesday that Mari is back with a series of pictures that were captioned: "Look who's back".

With Monza sitting 14th in the Serie A,

s fitness could prove vital to Berlusconi-owned side. They later will travel to Florence to face Fiorentina on January 4.
