Al-Khelaifi to sign "amazing" Rashford on a free transfer for PSG

With his outstanding performance with England in the World Cup, the PSG boss admits they are tempted to sign the Man United striker on a free transfer next summer with the player in the last year of his current contract.

Marcus Rashford

's contract with Manchester United expires this summer as the player will be able to negotiate with potential suitors in January.

PSG

president Nasser Al-Khelaifi suggested his side might try to sign the

England

international in the summer transfer window.

"

He’s another player who’s amazing and for free? To have Rashford for free, every club will run after him,"

he said.

"Definitely, we're not hiding it. We spoke before... the moment was not a good moment for both sides. Maybe [in the summer] summer, why not?

“If he's a free agent of course we can talk to him directly but we're not going to talk to him now. Let him focus on the World Cup and then after, in January, if we're interested we'll talk to him."

Despite starting just one game for England in Qatar 2022, Rashford has scored three goals so far.
