Croatia 4-1 Canada: Croatia is Back!
Croatia and Canada faced each other in the second game of the group’s second game week after Morocco earned a shocking 2-0 victory over Belgium. Canada lost their first Qatar 2022 game to the Belgians while Croatia settled on a draw with Morocco.
The World Cup 2018 runner-ups were the favorites of this year's tournament, while
Canadashowed a promising side in their defeat to Belgium as they attempted 22 shots during their match. Against all the odds, Canada scored the opener in the second minute of the match through

. However, although the Canadians defended their lead for around half an hour,
Croatiascored the equalizer in the 36th minute after Perisic played a pass into the box for Kramaric, and finished with confidence.
Livaja
scored the lead for Croatia in the 44th minute as Croatia completed a late first-half comeback to go to the dressing room with a 2-1 lead. Later, Kramaric secured Croatia's lead, with Canada's attempts remaining fruitless. Majer's 94th-minute goal sealed Croatia a comfortable 4-1 victory.
With this victory, Croatia moved to the top of the Group F with four points next to Morocco.
