Erling Haaland starts the game against Fulham from the bench

The Norwegian wonderkid missed both Manchester City’s games last week due to injury and it seems that he won’t be starting today’s match against Fulham either

Manchester City fans were hoping to see their Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland start again today, after missing games against Leicester City and Sevilla due to a bruised foot but their hopes have been doused as the line-ups for the City vs Fulham clash have been announced.

Manchester City have fielded a similar starting 11 with a few changes that includes: Ederson, Akanji, Stones, Ake, Cancelo, Rodrigo, De Bruyne, Gundogan (C), Bernardo, Alvarez, Grealish. With Alvarez starting ahead of both Haaland and Foden.

On the other side, Fulham is also without their most impactful player, as Mitrovic is out of the squad entirely. Their starting line-up consists of: Leno, Tete, Diop, Ream (C), Robinson, Reed, Palhinha, Wilson, Andreas, Willian and Vinicius.

Erling Haaland’s impact on Manchester City has been phenomenal recently as the striker has scored 22 goals and assisted 3 in his 16 appearances in all competitions this season.
