Ruben Neves welcomes Barcelona rumors

The Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Catalan giants. Neves welcomes the rumors saying: “Who wouldn’t want to try Barcelona?”

After Wolverhampton failed to win the European qualification and gained unimpressive results in the Premier League, Ruben Neves is on the verge of leaving the club and it is said that Barcelona will be his first choice. Xavi is reportedly looking for a midfielder to replace Sergio Busquets, and Neves, who is currently valued at € 40 million, could be a great option.

Responding to the rumors, the 25-year-old midfielder told Canal 11:  “Who wouldn’t want to try Barcelona? I think it’s a common question for all players. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. Of course, it’s always a privilege for me to be associated with clubs of this calibre.

“I'm going to do my job here [at Wolves] and I'm sure I have people working with me. I trust these people a lot for these situations. I have to focus as much as I can on Wolves. Making a good time here, things will come naturally.”
