Angel Di Maria suspended for Milan-Juventus match

Both Roma coach Jose Mourinho and Argentine forward Angel Di Maria will miss Saturday's match against Inter because of suspensions for aggressive conduct.

Following the Week 7 matches, the Lega Serie A Disciplinary Commission published its decisions. During a 1-0 loss to

Monza

,

Angel Di Maria

was issued a straight red card for violent behavior after launching an elbow into the ribs of defender Armando Izzo.

As expected, this justified more than a one-game penalty; therefore, he will miss both

Juventus

matches against Bologna and Milan. In other news, Roma coach

Jose Mourinho

has been given a one-match touchline ban for dissent, so he will miss the trip to his old club Inter and sit in the seats at

San Siro

.

Marcelo Brozovic

, an Inter midfielder, is suspended for that game after receiving five yellow cards. For multiple bookings, Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is banned from the touchline for one match, and Fiorentina staff member Filippo Nannelli is punished for abusing the referee.

Milan fans were fined €15,000 for chanting 'territorial discrimination' at Napoli, while Cremonese, Inter, and Udinese were fined less for throwing items into the pitch.
