Wiegman wants England squad to get back to business
The England manager is looking to win her first World Cup title.
need to get back on track, Sarina Wiegmann has claimed it is time for England to get 'back to business' after announcing her first squad since the European Championship.
England will face
Austriaand Luxembourg in World Cup qualifiers and Wiegmann has bigger goals for next year. After their success against Germany at Wembley, the Lionesses are now focused on fighting for a second major title and Wiegmann urged his players to stay focused.
She said:
"It only feels like yesterday since we were celebrating at Wembley, but we have to get straight back to business.
"We have a big target in front of us this month to book our place at the World Cup, and we have to set aside our amazing memories of this summer for the moment."
