Juventus offered McKennie to Man Utd after Rabiot deal collapses

Juventus has offered Weston McKennie to Manchester United after Adrien Rabiot deal collapsed.

According to The Telegraph and Tuttomercatoweb,

Juventus

offered midfielder

McKennie

to

Manchester United

after they failed to reach an agreement with Adrien Rabiot but the English club was not interested in the United States international.

Manchester United decided to end the negotiations with Rabiot on Tuesday due to his salary demands.  The 27-year-old Rabiot wanted €10m per year but United was not willing to increase their offer and therefore the deal collapsed. United now is talking with Real Madrid over the transfer of Casemiro.

The 23-year-old McKennie joined Juventus from Schalke on a loan deal in 2020. Juventus exercised their purchase option for €18.5 million on 2021 and signed him on a four-year contract. McKennie has scored 5 goals in 55 matches for Juventus. McKennie injured his metatarsal in February 2022 and missed the rest of the season.

Juventus still is interested in signing Leandro Paredes from PSG but they need to sell at least one of their midfielders in order to make room for the new signing.

Besides Rabiot and McKennie, Arthur Melo is the other player they are open to selling but Valencia is not prepared to sign him on loan.
