Beating Real Valladolid 3-0 in their opening La Liga game, the Yellow Submarine are looking to add to their front-goal strength by signing Almeria forward.
According to
Fabrizio Romano, Villarreal is closing on a €30m move for Almeria's striker

Sadiq joined
Almeriafrom the Serbian Club Partizan in October 2020 for a €9.00m fee and went on to score 41 goals in a total of 81 appearances for the La Liga side.
's Pervis Estupinan has also been linked with a move to Brighton for a reported €17m fee as the La Liga side would use the fund to invest in their squad. The Yellow Submarine has been strongly linked with
Giovani Lo Celsoas well as Umar Sadiq.
The 24-year-old
Estupinanjoined the Yellow Submarines in 2020 from Watford on a €16.4m deal. Although he joined Villarreal after he already established himself as one of the most impressive left-backs in La Liga after a season at Osasuna, he failed to live up to expectations at Villarreal as fell below Alberto Moreno and Alfonso Pedraza in the Unai Emery’s pecking order.
