PSG to close a deal with Lille’s Renato Sanches

The Ligue 1 side are on the verge of closing a deal with LOSC Lille’s Renato Sanches, as per reports from 90min.

Renato Sanches

had been linked with a move to

Serie A

side

Milan

this summer, with the Italian top-flight champions eager to acquire the services of him and his

Lille

teammate Sven Botman in June. However, the negotiations stalled and their pursuit was not successful as Botman made a move to Newcastle United this month.

The Portugal international is on Luis Campos’ wish list as the PSG sporting director signed the midfielder when he was at Lille. Christophe Galtier, the new PSG boss, is also interested in the player as these two have also worked together.

According to reports from 90min, signing Sanches can pave the way for Georginio Wijnaldum to depart the club on a loan deal this month.

Wijnaldum did not have much game time and the club are willing to let him leave. Reports claim that he is likely to be loaned away to Roma. Notwithstanding interest from Leicester City, Everton, Wolves, and West Ham, the Giallorossi are the favorites to land him.

Roma

have also penned a contract with

Paulo Dybala

last week and they asked Manchester United whether Eric Bailly is available.
