Milan closing on a deal for Club Brugge's Charles De Ketelaere

Milan, who won Serie A last season after 11 years, is planning to strengthen their attack line for next season and De Ketelaere, who scored 18 goals for the Belgian side, is one of their most serious options.

, the Rossoneri has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday in Lugano, Switzerland to discuss material further over a deal for the attacking midfielder.

Rossoneri sporting director Paolo Maldini is confident they will sign the 21-year-old after traveling to Belgium to hold talks, although Brugge boss Carl Hoefkens has insisted he will only let the star leave when the time is right. However, a recent positive meeting in Belgium between Maldini and Massaro is due to continue further on Tuesday.

"I haven't seen Paolo Maldini here this week, no. But we all read it too. There are no secrets.

"We all know that Milan will go to any lengths to get Charles. Charles is a super talent who has grown enormously here in three years. He has shown that he is ready to take the step.”
