De Ligt and Mane score goals in their debut at Bayern
The Bayern Munich new signing has immediately made an impact in their 6-2 victory over DC United in the friendly game.
Debutants
Sadio Mane
and
Matthijs de Ligt
both met the back of the net in their first friendly game for their new side as
Bayern Munichvanquished
DC United6-2 on Wednesday.
Mane, who departed
Liverpool, scored very soon, going to the penalty spot after Lucas Copado was brought down five minutes into the match.
He did not make any mistake, meeting the target and giving Bayern their opener and lead early doors.
Marcel Sabitzer netted the next goal 12 minutes into the game and Serge Gnabry went on to make their lead 3-0.
The XI players were completely different in the second half, adding new arrival De Ligt to the squad as well. He had a very impressive entrance, meeting the target 90 seconds in.
Joshua Zirekzee scored their fifth goal following an assist from Kingsley Coman, before DC finally netted one goal courtesy of Skage Leland’s strike.
Theodore Ku-Dipietro found the back of the net and gave the America side their second goal; however, Thomas Muller completed the result with his strike.
