Juventus in talks with the agent of Luis Muriel

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus wants Atalanta's Luis Muriel.

After

Dusan Vlahovic

came to

Juventus

from

Fiorentina

in January, the team's front line has been completely changed.

Paulo Dybala's contract has been canceled, and it's likely that neither

Alvaro Morata

nor Moise Kean will stay after their loans with options to buy from

Atletico Madrid

and

Everton

.

So, the search is on for strikers who can work well with Vlahovic or fill in for him when the team needs to switch things up. La Gazzetta dello Sport says that Muriel, who just turned 31 last month and is ready for a new challenge after three years with Atalanta, could be the one.

The Colombian player can play as a center forward or in support of one. He is better known as a super-sub than as a player who leads the line from the beginning. Even though his contract doesn't end until 2023 and his relationship with coach Gian Piero Gasperini can be tense, he scored 14 goals and set up 10 assists for La Dea in 39 games this season.

Inter was interested last year, but now that Atalanta is out of Europe, Juve has the upper hand, and Muriel would be able to play with his good friend Juan Cuadrado, who is also from Colombia, in Turin.
