Konstantinos Tsimikasthat proved to be the game-winning kick. This victory allowed Liverpool to keep their quadruple ambitions alive.
Tsimikas, who came on as a substitute in extra time, scored the game-winning goal by putting the ball past Edouard Mendy. This came after Alisson made a save from Mason Mount, allowing
Jurgen Klopp
's team to secure a victory similar to the one they earned in the EFL Cup final back in February.
When Liverpool's Mohamed Salah had to leave the game because of an injury in the first half, it was a significant setback for the team. Additionally, Virgil van Dijk and
Andrew Robertson
had to be replaced after the first 90 minutes of play had been completed.
