Villareal players are aware of Anfield's scary atmosphere - Capoue

Liverpool, who are trying to win the quadruple, have high motivation to win tonight's game.

Villarreal

midfielder

Etienne Capoue

believes a horrific atmosphere at Anfield awaits them.

Liverpool

host Villarreal in the semi-finals of the Champions League tonight and are expected to have a spectacular match at Anfield. The Reds reached the semi-finals with the elimination of Inter and Benfica, and the Yellow Submarine managed to reach the top 4 by defeating

Juventus

and

Bayern Munich

. Klopp's side had a very good performance in the second half of the season and was able to decrease the difference of 15 points with the leading City to 1 point in the Premier League, and therefore has a higher chance of winning. However, Capoue claimed that he and his teammates were aware of Anfield's scary atmosphere.

“This is the semi-final, we’re just one step away from the final of the Champions League. I think that, mentally, in terms of the level of emotion, it’s a difficult step. The team that’s the toughest in mind and controls their emotions is going to go through.

“They’re heavy at Anfield. You have nightmares because they’re strong at home. And with those fans, playing in their stadium is difficult. Many of us in the team have already played there many times and we know that stadium. We know that they’re strong and that playing there is crazy.”
