Van Gaal has gone through the treatment process well so far and Netherland fans are happy with this news.

Netherland

coach Louis van Gaal has confirmed that his prostate cancer treatment has been successful.

The Dutchman recently announced that he has prostate cancer, and this news has raised the question of whether the Dutch coach can lead the team in the World Cup or not. Now the former

manager has announced that his cancer treatment has progressed well so far.

"I've been through everything," he said. "I had 25 radiation treatments. Then I had to wait five or six months to see if it had done its job. It did."

After the World Cup, Van Gaal will step down as Netherlands coach. He, who led the Netherlands to third place in the Brazil World Cup, intends to perform better in Qatar. After him, Ronald Koeman will return to the Oranje bench.
