Pepe becomes the Gunners’ hero against Wolves

Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe changes the game for them in the last minutes.

Arsenal

managed to pick all the points against

Wolves

in a game that they were expecting a home defeat until the 82nd minute, but

Nicolas Pepe

changed things around for his side after coming in in the second half.

Hwang Hee-Chan

scored for Wolves in the tenth minute of the game to give his side an early lead in the game, and the visitors tried to defend their fragile lead through the game, and they almost did it despite the opposition’s pressure as they kept the lead in the first half.

The Gunners had even more determination to change the result in the second half, making too many opportunities, but they seemed unable to find the net until Nicolas Pepe entered the pitch and scored the leveler in the 82nd minute to give the home side more hope for the remaining minutes and increase the pressure.

Arsenal had 26 shots in this match, and only five of them were on target, but their efforts didn’t go to waste as they managed to secure the victory in the last minutes with

Jose Sa’s

own goal when he was trying to deny

Lacazette’s

effort in the 95th minute.
