Balotelli returns to Italy squad
Roberto Mancini has called up for Mario Balotelli after a period away from national team.
The Italian high-profile striker
Mario Balotellihas been called up by
Roberto Mancini
to be with the rest of the team in their training camp, which means that the experienced forward could get a chance to play for his national team again in their bid to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.
It has been three years since the last time that Balotelli played for the
Azzurri, and at the age of 31, he has been among the new faces that have been called up to train with the rest of Mancini's players, who will camp in Coverciano from Wednesday to Friday this week.
The former
Manchester Citystar has joined the Turkish side
Adana Demirsporsince July and has scored nine goals for them, and the three of them have been in their last four games, which shows that Balotelli is in good shape right now and can help the Azzurri in their battle for a spot in the Qatar World Cup.
