Arsenal defeats West Ham and get into top four

The Gunners take West Ham’s place in the Premier League by defeating them.

Gabriel Martinelli

and

Emile Smith Rowe’s

goals secure a 2-0 victory for the

Gunners

against

West Ham

and helped them above the Hammers on the Premier League table into the top four places on the table.

In the first half, both sides seemed to be on the same level, and the most important scene was

Kieran Tierney’s

shot that hit the bar and then in the 48th minute, Martinelli had a fast run into the box and sent the ball to the bottom corner to give the home side the lead at Emirates Stadium.

After the first goal,

Mikel Arteta’s

men seemed more confident and showed more dominance over the game, pushing the Hammers back until

Alexander Lacazette

got a penalty which was saved by the former Arsenal goalkeeper

Lukasz Fabianski

but the saving the penalty only was to prevent some of the damage as they already missed Vladimir Coufal, who received his second yellow card in the penalty scene.

Then the Gunners easily managed the game through the remaining minutes, and Smith Rowe, who had entered the pitch as a substitute for the Gunners, scored the second goal for the home side, securing the victory for them and making sure that they reach above the opposition on the table.
