Kessie’s contract with Milan will expire at the end of the season and Real are set to make a move for the Ivorian midfielder, however, the Spanish giants’ pursuit of the talented playmaker has become complicated, as Milan technical director Paolo Maldini has recently claimed in an interview with Sky Sports that the Rossoneri are not focused on new signings for the next transfer window and instead, they try to secure long-term deals with valuable players like Kessie or the team’s captain, Alessio Romagnoli.
Kessie is yet to reach an agreement with Milan over a contract extension and it’s been rumored that the Ivory Coast international is looking to start a new journey in a new club.
