Arsenal looking to sell Pepe and Torreira

Arteta’s side will gain £40m from selling two of their players.

Nicolas Pepe

and

Lucas Torreira

have been left out of

Mikel Arteta’s

plans, according to the reports, and

Arsenal

could get £40m for these two players, which can be a good number to help them in reinforcements.

Lucas Torreira is already away on loan playing for Fiorentina, and the Serie A side is said to be interested in paying the £15m option-to-buy in the clause, and Nicolas Pepe has some clubs looking to sign him, and the price that the Gunners are looking for is something around £25m.

The club has failed to sell the talents in recent years, and they had only two stars going away in 2108 and 2019 when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was transferred to Liverpool in 2018 with a £35m deal, and Alex Iwobi joined Everton in 2019 for the same amount of money.

Meanwhile, they have parted ways with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey, Nacho Monreal, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere, Petr Cech, or Shkodran Mustafi in recent years, without receiving any money for them, and their best transfers in the last two years have been Joe Willock and Emi Martinez who left the Gunners with £20m deals to join other Premier League clubs.
