Real Madrid linked with Monaco starlet
The Blancos are once again in the race to sign a Ligue 1 talent.
Aurelien Tchouameni has established a reputation as Ligue 1’s next great talent. The Monaco midfielder has been linked with multiple clubs from abroad, with Real Madrid being his main suitor.
According to
Marca, Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Tchouameni. With Luca Modric and Toni Kroos reaching the final years of their careers, the Blancos are keen to avoid a transitional phase by quickly integrating new talents into their squad.
Having secured the signing of
Eduardo Camavingathis summer, Real Madrid are keen to add Tchouameni to a host of young talents in their midfield.
Since his move from Bordeaux in June 2020, Tchouameni has established himself as a key player for Monaco. The 21-year-old has featured in 60 matches for the Monegasques, scoring five goals and providing four assists. Tchouameni has also found his place in France’s crowded midfielder, earning five caps for Le Bleus since his international debut in September.
