Kessie snubs Tottenham offer while Milan are open to sell him

With his contract expiring next summer, Paolo Maldini confirmed they cannot go beyond the parameters for an extension set by the club owners, leaving exit doors open for the Ivorian.

, the Ivory Coast international has rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the outlet states Milan are not against the idea of selling Kessie this summer.

 

Liverpool was previously linked with a move for Franck Kessie

, however, the Ivorian thrashed the speculations in an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport, saying: 

“I’m proud to have chosen Milan and my intention isn’t to leave. On the contrary, I want to stay forever. Now I have the Olympics, but when I come back I will fix everything. I just want Milan, Maldini and Massara know my thinking.”

 

Earlier, 

it’s been reported that

 the midfielder has demanded a €7m per season salary but the Serie A side is willing to offer him €6m plus bonuses for his signature.

The Ivory Coast international, who capped 44 times for his country, joined Milan in 2017 on a loan deal but his deal was made permanent in 2019.

The 24-year-old has impressed at Stefano Pioli’s midfield and the club manager is going to use him in the next campaign. Kessie has featured in 184 games for Milan and met the target 30 times.

The Rossoneri has been linked

 with Brest player Romain Faivre, Yacine Adli of Bordeaux, while a deal is close to taking Tiemoue Bakayoko on loan with a buy option from Chelsea.
