‘I feel like I’ve been playing at Inter for years’ – Edin Dzeko
Edin Dzeko has joined Inter for two weeks, but he feels like he has been at defending Serie A champions for years after scoring his first goal for Simone Inzahji’s side.
The center-forward left

He made an immediate impact after he scored his side’s fourth goal in a 4-0 Serie A victory over
Genoaat San Siro.
Speaking to
Inter TV, the Bosnian reflected on his fit at the Nerazzurri and spoke of feeling like he belongs at his new club and of being confident about the future.
“It was an emotional day, especially as it was the first game with fans back in the stadium,”
Dzeko
told Inter TV
.
“My mother was at San Siro too. It was an important day, ending with our victory and a goal that I worked really hard for. I hadn’t scored in a long time in Serie A, so it was important to break that drought and boost my confidence for the future.
“I feel like I’ve been playing here for years, I get along really well with my teammates and we work together smoothly. That’s because there are many champions here who know how to play football, that’s why I came to Inter.”
