Inter in a rush to recruit Lazio striker Joaquin Correa

Inter are willing to pay €30 million for Joaquin Correa, according to Sky Sport Italia, and want to conclude the transfer in two or three days; otherwise, they would seek elsewhere.

The

Serie A

winners have already acquired

Edin Dzeko

to supplant Romelu Lukaku, but Simone Inzaghi might be on the lookout for a new forward shortly.

Correa of Lazio is the key objective for the Nerazzurri, who are in negotiations with the club. However, because the two clubs were unable to achieve a financial deal, talks are still ongoing.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri will pay €30 million for the Argentinian frontman, who was previously linked with Arsenal.

Lazio may not accept the deal since the Biancocelesti demand €40 million for the 27-year-old.

In Lazio's Serie A opening against Empoli on Saturday, Correa didn't even make the bench. Argentinean

Maurizio Sarri

stated his desire to quit the club during his revealing media briefing.

According to Sport Mediaset, Correa has turned down a transfer to

Everton

in favor of a move to Inter.

However, with just one week until the summer transfer market closes, Inter are not patient enough to wait much longer and want to complete the deal in the next two or three days, failing which they will leave discussions with Lazio and pursue a different target.

Lorenzo Insigne

and

Gianluca Scamacca

have been suggested as potential Nerazzurri replacements.

The Napoli captain may be on his way out of the Stadio Maradona after refusing to renew his contract with the Azzurri.
