Erling Haaland admits the €175 million price tag is too much for him

The prolific Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland hopes that the rumors of a transfer to Chelsea are not true because he believes that in this case a lot of money is being transferred.

The Norwegian striker is one of the most attractive talents at the moment for the big European clubs, and there are rumors that

Chelsea

 are preparing a 175 million euro offer to sign Haaland, rumors that he hopes are not true.

Haaland

told reporters when questioned on his €175m valuation at Dortmund's summer training camp:

"Before yesterday I hadn't spoken with my agent for a month. So there you have the answer

.

"I hope it’s only rumours because it’s a lot of money for a player."

 

Borussia Dortmund

have the striker tied to a contract through to 2024, so at this stage, there is no pressure to let go of Haaland.

The 21-year-old further explained about his future:

"First of all I have three years left on my contract

.

"I’m enjoying my time here. But of course the trophy was important because that's what I want."
